You may require a Letter of Good Standing for many reasons, including an external elective, scholarship, fellowship, or research application.

If you are requesting this letter for the purposes of an away elective application, please note that we verify good standing for all students in the "Verification Questions" section of VSAS, which is managed by Student Affairs. You will NOT need an actual letter of good standing for most institutions. Please review the specific requirements to determine if you need a physical letter to be developed. Generally this is only for schools with application processes not within VSAS.

The Letter of Good Standing will not be sent unless all information on the form below is complete (contact information, program/scholarship name, etc.). Note: you must complete the Annual Regulatory Training modules to be considered in good standing, and we will not issue a Letter of Good Standing until the modules have been completed. Requests for a Letter of Good Standing must be submitted at least 14 days in advance of the due date of the letter, with additional lead time preferred.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Student Affairs. Please note: Your request for a letter of good standing will be processed by the Office of Student Affairs. It will be sent to you via email unless otherwise indicated.
