The purpose of the HYPE on Campus research study is to better understand the experiences of college students with mental health conditions. We are asking you to complete this survey, which should take less than 5 minutes, to determine if you are eligible for the study. Once you fill out this survey, you will immediately be told if you do or do not meet eligibility requirements. If you do meet eligibility, or if we need to ask a few more questions to determine your eligibility, we will ask you for your contact information so a research team member can reach out to you with next steps! Confidentiality: Your participation is voluntary and can be stopped at any point. All information you share is confidential and only shared with the research study team. Your information will not be shared with any other party. If you are eligible and choose to participate in the research: You will be randomized to either a) meet for 1-2 hours per week with a HYPE Practitioner who will provide you with individualized academic supports or b) meet once per semester with a research team member who will facilitate your access to relevant and existing services on campus. Importantly, you have an equal chance of ending up in either group. Regardless of your group assignment, you will be asked to complete surveys over the course of eight months. You will receive Amazon gift cards for each completed survey.

Help us find students that are silently struggling. We know these are stressful times at school. Every semester, people think things are going to be different with a clean slate of classes, but then things become challenging fast... How do we find students early on to be helpful sooner rather than later? What do you think is an effective way to find students who are silently struggling?
